NORDIC SMALL BATCH AQUAVIT - VI.ER AKVAVIT

We can all find ourselves in need of inspiration when the weekend comes knocking and we are in the mood for something delicious. To help you out of this little conundrum we have teamed up with some of the best bartenders in Nordics and friends of VI.ER AKVAVIT, who have created some truly outstanding cocktails that are guaranteed to get you in the mood, every time. Whether you are hanging out with your friends in the park, laying on a bearskin rug with your date or simply gazing over the city lights by night like a modern day Don Draper, we probably have an aquavit cocktail that fits your mood.

Cashmere Luft

3 ml Violet Liquor 

5 ml White Grapefruit Juice

3 ml Lemon Juice

3 ml Maraschino 

40 ml VI.ER DANMARK

Combine, shake over ice, coat glass in Absinthe Blanche, serve in a stemmed glass and garnish with a grapefruit peel. 

WE.ARE IT

30  ml VI.ER DANMARK

30 ml Cocchi Vermouth de Torino

1 dash Orange Bitters

1 dash Angostura Bitters

Stir with ice, squeeze lemon zest over and give a quick stir with zest, discard zest and serve in stemmed glass. 

Caraway Rose

30 ml VI.ER DANMARK

30 ml Kirschwasser (Cherry brandy)

1 bar spoon Raspberry Syrup

20 ml White Vermouth

Combine over ice, stir, strain and serve in Martini glass

Flirtation

40 ml VI.ER DANMARK

20 ml Lemon Juice

10 ml Maraschino

3 ml Sugar Syrup

Shake over ice, strain and serve in stemmed glass. Garnish with small rose petal. 

ST. ANSGAR NEGRONI

30 ml VI.ER DANMARK

30 ml Vermouth Bianco

30 ml Amaro

Combine in lowball glass with ice, stir and garnish with orange peel. 

VI & TONIC

35 ml VI.ER DANMARK

100 ml Fever Tree Tonic

Build in small highball glass over clear ice and garnish with white grapefruit wedge.

Peters Christmas

30 ml VI.ER JÓL 

30 ml Lucano Anniversario Amaro

30 ml Cocchi Vermouth di Torino

1 dash Bitter Truth Wood Bitters

1 dash orange bitters

Combine in lowball glass with ice cubes, stir, sip and enjoy... Merry Xmas.

The White Star Danish Daisy

30 ml VI.ER JÓL

30 ml Pierre Ferrand Cognac

20 ml fresh lemon juice

20 ml simple syrup

1 dash angostura

Combine ingredients in shaker, shake & strain into a cocktail glass then top it up with champagne.
